I saw a fox today in the misty morning
her eyes gazed at me in kind of mystery – mourning
she friendly asked me "where, oh, where are you going?"
and then she went her way to somewhere in the fields
I saw a hawk today in the winter morning
his eyes gazed at me asking "how do you do?"
humankind is an evil thing, is uneven thing, un-forgiven gene
and that was all he said in his solemn mourning
I saw an owl today in the darkening evening
her eyes were asking me "what did you do, oh, what did you do girl?"
and then she flew away
went on living in a beautiful melody
in the foggy morning
with nobody's warning
that she had noticed
what are the roads for?
where are you running?
why are you hurrying?
along these misty morning roads, where words have lost their meaning
and the animals, they should lead their paths
so where are you running, people?
is it from your beloved ones?
or is it from yourselves?
so, what are the roads for?
to come close to each other
but not to get lost
