about
Akami na albumu Sunburnt sestavljajo Domen Slovinič na vokalu in električni kitari ter kot avtor vse glasbe in besedil, Brigita Gračner na klaviaturah in vokalu, Samo Pavlica – Linč na električni kitari, Boštjan Franetič z basom in Kristjan Buzeti za bobni. Ekipa, ki smo je vajeni že od maratona dalje, se je počasi, a vztrajno razvijala ter v svojo glasbo dodala tako dobro mero žmohta kot zasanjanosti. Skozi zares široko prizmo bi Akami lahko opisali kot psihedelični eksperimentalni rock. Komadi, ki so na začetku rasli kot samotarske pesmi domače izdelave, so se izkazali kot dobra izhodišča za tršo, bolj dodelano in vsekakor bendovsko igro.
Akami se nam predstavijo z osmimi komadi različnih ekspresivnih karakterjev, ki se vijejo od introvsko zaspanih ambientalov, do podžganih in surovejših sedlanj debelejših distrozij. Album bo blagodejen tako za ušesa privržencev trših rokerskih izrazov kot tudi ljubiteljev milejših in subtilnejših zvočenj, nenazadnje pa se spušča tudi v odstopanja, s katerimi se odpirajo in pritajeno spogledujejo s še bolj nekonvencionalnimi izvedbami, ki jim presenetljivo ustrezajo oziroma očitno tudi ugajajo.

Plošča je nastala pod snemalno taktirko Martina Ukmarja, za miks pa sta poskrbela prav tako Ukmar ter Samo Pavlica – Linč, vse v studiu Radia Študent. Mastering je pripravil Neven Smolčič/Fabrika 13.
